#year old Rott just diagnosed with demodectic mange

<p>Ceasar was just diagnosed with demo mange. My vet said this was not normal. this mange is shows in puppies under a year and senior dogs. She is running blood work because somethin must be supressing his immune system.</p>
<p>Anyone else had this prblem? what was it?</p>

<p>my best friends dog has mange. and he just cant get rid of it and the doctour procribed him some medisen and it gos away i a cuple of days then comes back. hes only 1 years old!</p>

It isn't really that uncommon. Has your dog having stress in his/her life lately? Sometmes that brings it out. At least it is not sarcoptic mange(Scabies) that is transferable to human and other dogs. But follow the teatment your vet gives you and it should go away shortly.
