I am cool dog dads friend, he said I could use his account to ask a question.
A couple of months ago, my husband and I rescued my sister's dog from cincinnati. She is a part lab mix, and a little over 2.
Recently it has come down to the point where the husband has said she has to go or be an outside dog.
Here is the problem: She chews everything!
When the weather is terrible, we leave her and my little 10lb chihuhua in the bathroom with everything put away and out of the line of her mouth.
Well, a couple weeks ago we got home and noticed a huge hole in our bathroom wall along with the teeth marks. After I finally calmed down my DH, I went in and patched it up.
Then on sunday we got home from church only to find that our bathroom looked like a tornado went through it. The cabinet doors were opened and stuff that we just recently stocked up on was demolished. I have a little drawer thing in my bathroom to hold extra stuff since we don't have cabinet space, and she somehow pulled the drawers open and chewed the contents up.
I then get a phone call from my husband this morning saying she has gotten into the tub and chewed up our shampoo bottles and soap and a razor.
I don't want to get rid of her cause she is such a sweet dog and I don't like leaving my dogs outside, but it is coming to a point where I have to make that decision. We cannot afford to keep replacing everything she is constantly getting her paws on to chew up.
Any suggestion?????
