Tucker sleeps in the bathroom, he won't sleep on his bed next to my bed unless it is storming out and he wants to be near me.

With Roxy, it all depends on her mood. She has a dog bed in my room, and when my boyfriend leaves for work, then she climbs into bed with me....I usually wake up to her lying on his side of the bed snoring. In the summertime when she gets hotter, she likes to lay on our leather couch and sleep. If she's outside, she stays in the barn with the cows, and sometimes in my flower bed.

Roxy finds spots in the landscaping where its mostly dirt, although I've caught her laying in the primroses a few times.

My dachshund, Heidi, usually sleeps in the kitchen in her cage. She'll do it only if it's open. If it's not, she'll bark all night. When she is mature enough not to pull her bed halfway across the room and tear up her newspaper when she's in my room at night, then she'll be allowed to start sleeping with me again.

lol, I think they all go through the tearing paper phase. Mine is 10 and still does it when he is irritated with me :)
