Ive joined this blog today with hopes that someone may have some info. I have a 2 yr old daschund who has swollen lymph nodes in his neck. He also refuses to eat...I have to make it very exciting or practically force him to take in his daily recommended food amount. He's been to the vet...they did an entire blood screen...no answers there. Everything looked normal except slight dehydration. They biopsied his lymph nodes...no cancer. Yet the nodes had decreased in size that day so they couldn't get a great sample. Now they would like to put him under and check the anatomical features of his throat. I will do anything to make sure my boy is healthy. Yet...his only symptoms are these lymph nodes, slight anorexia, and sometimes he gets a lil heat intolerant. Otherwise he plays, sleeps, loves, and acts like a normal dog. He seems to be in no pain and this has been going on for approximately a month or a lil longer. Plzzzzz...if anyone has any information that would seem helpful...it would be greatly appreciated. I trust my vet as they have been there through two other sick animals. I know they wouldn't steer me in a costly, unnecessary direction. I will also keep testing miles long after ive run out of money to pay them...I just don't want to keep poking and sticking to find out that nothing is wrong. Any help or advice??? Someone, somewhere????? Thankyou.
