Should the spay/neuter program be gov't funded?

I like the 'spay n neuter' program, I feel it enables alot of people to take better care of their pets who otherwise might be unable to....however, do I want one more thing to pay taxes on??

Since I dont really know how the system works.......if gov.t funding didnt pay for it, who would? What is the alternative?

I think that is a program worth funding. The only one who suffers here are the animals that have litters and the litters that have no one to watch after them. I think we all can agree that the last thing we need more of in the country is more unwanted litters of animals.
