View Full Version : How much do you pay to get your dog groomed?

Do you go to a chain, your vet or do you do it at home?
I go to a chain that charges for the breed and not the size. So even if your bernese mountain dog is 3 months old they charge you 80 bucks because it WILL be 120 lbs.
But for my Golden it is around 50, I suppose that isn't too bad for a pretty puppy.

My mini assue-with his long hair- was getting a bit tangled. I realized (first time owning dog) that something needed to be done. I went asking about grooming in the area and price :( .....I went online and learned how to do it myself. I enjoy it better doing it myself because I enjoy the time spent with him......and its free:)

Mini aussie? I have never heard of mini ones! I think they are beautiful dogs and on our short list for our next dog. I am hoping to find one at a shelter soon.

ya, I never heard of one either till my daughter and I found him online while searching for a puppy to adopt. Ended up be a breeder just down the road from us:) He is a gorgeous dog and we love his size. The temperments of these types of dogs are beautiful!! Very smart, family oriented, he is a good dog!!
