Sick cat?

My cat spent 2 days sleeping in his box. He's out of the box now, sleeping on a chair. He's eating and drinking. But when I went to pick him up under his front legs, he cried. Should I take him to the vet?

How is his nose? If it is warm or dry it could be a sign he has a cold. But if he cries if you pick him up he might have hurt himself. Let us know what you find out!

Should I take him to the vet?. any time a pet is acting radically differently than usual, make a vet appointment. it will put your mind at ease that you are doing something to help him. whether he is ill or not, you are doing the right thing for him.
