Some people say hamster or fish. Cats are easy enough. What do you think a childs first pet should be?

you decide on a cat please visit a shelter. there are many young cats which are known to be good with children. shelters which foster their animal vs keeping them caged learn the most about the animals; personalities and behavioral quirks and can make a better match for your family. also hamsters and guinea pigs are warm and furry and can still teach kids about feeding and cleaning up after a pet
