Merry Christmas and Happy New Year WagNBraggers!

I have a holiday-related question for you. This year, for the first time, we've put up a stocking by the fireplace for our dog. Maybe it's because she's a new adoption (July 31) and we're feeling extra parental. We did include a stop at a local pet supply store yesterday to buy a small stocking stuffer for Dorrie.

Does Santa visit your house on Christmas Eve? Does he bring goodies for the pets, too? What sort of gifts are you giving to your animal friends this year?

Merry Christmas,

I know it's a little late & this post has been up for awhile, but Santa ALWAYS left something for our pets. Believe it or not, an orange is a great toy for the dogs. They roll; they taste awful on the outside (watch their expressions when they bite it) but wonderful on the inside, and they don't do a lot of damage to the dog or the house.
My cats got kitty greens - they were inside cats. Catnip was not so good since one got the zoomies and the other got totally out of her mind afraid. They loved their kitty greens though. New dishes were always cool too.
The guinea pigs got cherry or grape tomatoes and fresh parsley. The also love tissue paper to play with.
The birds got seed bells and ropes, and grapes. The bigger birds someimes got dired peppers.

Something to think about for next year.

Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you too!! Our dogs are spoiled rotten and of course Santa came haha. Champ got a "doggie stocking" that they sold at target, a ball that lets treats out as they play with it, and other sorts of chew toys and Etta and Tank both got a lot of chew toys and balls (most of which did not survive to the new year). My sister and I also decided to make dog treats for all of our friends with dogs...I thought it would be a cute idea--I bought the little doggie-doo bags that were light purple with skulls and cross bones on them and put the treats in there. They were a big hit!

Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays!
